Bodies of 10 previously abducted persons discovered in Balochistan and Karachi

Eight bullet-riddled bodies previously abducted Baloch were found at two places in Balochistan province while two dead bodies were discovered in Karachi.

According to Balochistan media sources three bodies were found on Thursday in the mountains near Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. The men were said be arrested by Pakistani security forces from Barech Colony of Quetta during a search operation. Families of the victims have accused paramilitary forces for the killings.

According to police officials the hands and feet of the victims were tied behind and they hand bullet wounds on the upper torso of their bodies. Hospital sources confirmed the bodies appeared to be three days old.

Meanwhile the bodies of four Bugti Baloch were found in Pir Koh area of Dera Bugti district. Local residents informed security forces about the bodies. The deceased were identified as Naik Mohammad, Mazar Khan, Nordin and Sabz Ali.

Separately, bodies of two previously abducted Baloch men were found in Karachi and one in Awaran district of Balochistan.

The identities of the bodies found in Karachi were confirmed to be those of Razzaq Palari Baloch and Haroon Ilyas Baloch. Razzag Baloch and Haroon were abducted by Pakistani security agencies from Gawadar on 17/8/2012 and 5/12/2012 respectively. Their whereabouts remained unknown until January 31 when their bullet riddled bodies were discovered from Karachi.

Pakistan has escalated military offensives, abductions and the kill and dump policy once again as the elections get closer. Baloch political analysts and pro-freedom Baloch political parties say the Pakistani security forces are carrying out the genocidal policies to pave the way for upcoming elections.
