Dost Mohammad, an employee of Oman's Ministry of Defense, abducted from Karachi Airport

Dost Muhammad, an employee of the Ministry of Defense in the Sultanate of Oman, disappeared from Karachi Airport in Pakistan following his arrival from Oman in early 2012. He has been missing ever since and his family is desperately seeking news of his whereabouts. Pakistan's security agencies deny any knowledge of his case. A Human Resources Director with the Ministry of Defense in the Sultanate of Oman has provided the below statement regarding Dost Muhammad's employment in Oman (translation from the Arabic follows*)

"Dost Muhammad, a Pakistani Baloch, has been employed by the Ministry of Defence since January 15, 1984. He left Oman February 1, 2012, for his annual leave. Dost Muhammad planned to resume work on March 24, 2012, but never returned.

Madam Shandan Saeed Baloch, the wife of Dost Muhammad, is an Omani national and holds an Omani passport. Dost Muhammad and Madam Shandan Saeed have three children who attend school and are residents of Oman.

This letter was written as per the instructions of Madam Shandan Saeed Baloch."
