Report compiled from Sangar local news reports.

The Pakistan Army continues to enforce a blockade of the towns of Kolowah, Malaar, Geshkor, Zeek & Machi. No one, including town residents and district officials of the Pakistan-backed provincial government, is allowed access to the targeted towns.

The ongoing Pakistan Army operation in Balochistan has developed into a humanitarian crisis. The Pakistan Army continues to enforce a blockade of the towns of Kolowah, Malaar, Geshkor, Zeek & Machi. No one, including town residents and district officials of the Pakistan-backed provincial government, is allowed access to the targeted towns. A district official, on condition of anonymity, said they were denied access to the affected areas by Pakistan Army and Frontier Corp units and were told that operations are still underway. District officials said the towns have been subjected to intensified bombing by the Pakistan Air Force and expressed fears there may not be any survivors and that the Army may dispose of the dead by incinerating or burying the corpses in mass graves.

On July 21 the Pakistan Army expanded the circle of its scorched earth operations to the town of Parom in the adjoining district of Panjgur. All routes to the town have been blocked and contingents of Pakistan Army troops are surrounding the town.

Baloch nationalist parties are protesting the scorched earth operation in Awaran for a second day now with all Baloch cities, including the provincial capital Quetta, observing a shutter-down strike.
