Pak military responds May 28? Balochistan conference demands end to military operation; BRP response
A fifteen-point resolution aimed to resolve Balochistan's problems was passed unanimously at the conference. The resolution calls for an end to the ongoing military operation in the insurgency-hit province, and the withdrawal of military and paramilitary troops from Balochistan.

Pakistani forces continue to kill the cream of Baloch nation by abducting, torturing and extra-judicially killings Baloch activists, students, leaders, lawyers, teachers, intellectuals and journalists. So far, more than four hundred bullet-riddled and mutilated dead bodies have been found in desolated places of different areas of Balochistan.
JuD (front for Lashkar-e-Taiba) plans development, welfare projects in Balochistan
A front for Lashkar-e-TAiba, Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), has planned to focus on developmental and welfare projects in Balochistan as grievances of Balochistan can "only be resolved by JuD", claimed Hafiz Abdur Rauf, the chairman of JuD's charity, Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation Pakistan (FIFP).
Why I support Baluchistan
There has been quite a stir since I introduced a resolution this year calling for recognition of the right to self-determination by the people of Baluchistan. I drafted the measure after a Feb. 8 hearing by the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on oversight and investigations that exposed horrific violations of human rights by Pakistan security forces in Baluchistan.
