Pakistani security agencies do their own 'surge': Balochistan sees great increase in abductions of Baloch by Pakistani security agencies and military since July 2010

Murtaza Baloch of Khuzdar, son of Ghulam Mustafa, was abducted on September 9, 2010, at Mir Chakker Khan Road in Khuzdar. Murtaza is a student, 18 years of age, and is employed by a private company. His brother Yasir Baloch witnessed the abduction. No FIR has been filed.

Sami Baloch, another talented student attending the Engineering University in Khuzdar, was abducted on October 1 by the Pakistan military while returning from school. Sami's father has appealed to human rights organizations, the UN and the Pakistani judiciary to help locate his son. Below are just a few reports of other recent abductions.
