from report at BalochWarna.org
Personnel of Pakistan's intelligence agencies abducted a resident of New Kahan, Quetta, around 5 pm on June 9, 2011.
Abdul Rehman, son of Haji Baloch Khan Marri, was traveling home by a Kirani-Quetta city route local bus. When the bus reached the Zafarabad FC check point, security forces signaled it to stop; they asked all passengers to alight and hand over their ID cards. After checking the ID of Abdul Rehman forces arrested him. Sources report he was blindfolded, beaten up and dragged to vehicle of intelligence agencies in front of all passengers.
The family of Abdul Rehman said that he is a teacher at New Kahan Quetta and has not been involved in any illegal activities. They urged the Balochistan High Court, the Supreme Court of Pakistan and human rights organizations to take immediate notice of Abdul Rehman Marri's abduction. The family fears that delayed intervention by the courts will endanger his life and that he may be killed like thousands of other Baloch activists under-custody of Pakistan's security forces.
