Mehboob Wadhela was abducted from Karachi on April 2, 2010 as he traveled by public bus from Yousuf Goth. His abduction was witnessed and reported by passengers. Eleven months later his body, showing signs of torture, was found today near Hadh Cross of Ormara. A petition regarding his abduction had been submitted to authorities, but all publicity regarding his case produced no results.
Arif Rehman was abducted on September 3, 2010, from Rancho Line, Karachi, while returning to his home after visiting a relative in a local Karachi hospital. His body was found near the body of Mehboob Wadhela.

The bodies of both activists bore signs of extreme torture. The family of Arif Rehman had staged a long hunger strike over the recovery of their son. The 'kill and dump' tactics of Pakistani security agencies are increasing in frequency. The international community must pressure Pakistan, a major beneficiary of Western financial and military aid, to stop the atrocities.
