IVBMP to protest against enforced disappearance of Baloch activists at Amnesty International Office

Press Release

The International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (IVBMP) is organising a protest demonstration outside the Human Rights Action Center office of the Amnesty International in London on 30 April 2011. The aim of our protest is to draw the attention of Amnesty International and other International Human Rights Organisations towards the plight of Baloch enforced disappeared families' struggle for the release of their loved ones.

Our protest is to show solidarity with the ongoing campaign of Baloch families in Occupied Balochistan for the recovery of their sons, daughters, brothers, fathers and husbands.

The IVBMP through its Save Balochistan Campaign wants to assure the people of Occupied Balochistan, families of Baloch enforced-disappread activists and our sister Organisation VBMP (Voice of Baloch Missing Persons) that we stand by them at these difficult times.

We will continue to raise awareness among International Community and International friends of Baloch about Pakistan's and Iran's atrocities against the people of Occupied Balochistan. We will continue our monthly pickets to raise awareness among the people of the respected countries that we reside in.

Therefore, we appeal to other freedom loving Baloch and Sindhi Organisations to join our Campaign to Save Balochistan from becoming another battle field like Rwanda or Somali land. Help us raise the voices of agonized Baloch families and be a voice for the voiceless people of occupied Balochistan.
